How you can remove yourself from a group on Facebook | Leave Facebook Group

How can you remove yourself from a group on Facebook to stop receiving unsolicited notifications? or how can you leave a Facebook group permanently? - Sometimes you join a Facebook group with intention of getting something out of it but the reverse is usually the case when there is no laid-down structure of how the group is expected to operate.

How to Remove Myself from a Group on Facebook

If you are like me, I don't waste a single second deciding if I should or not to leave - I just go straight and remove myself from the group.

Good enough, when you leave a Facebook group:
  • Group members won't be notified
  • You're removed from the member list and the group will be removed from your list of groups
  • You'll no longer get group notifications
  • People will no longer know when you've seen a group post, even if you saw it before you left the group
So I'm just happy to leave as soon as I see any thing other than I expected from the group.
